Tejas Pande, a graduating student of interdisciplinary design at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, takes an interest in understanding the deeply permeating nature of urban spaces and the possibility of their manipulation as tools of communication and change.

Tejas Pande is a Research Assistant at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. He supports urban development publications and grant proposals, especially on issues related to the integration of land use and transport, planning and more mindful urban development.

Prior to joining WRI, Tejas worked as a graphic designer at the Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP), a policy research think tank in Bengaluru, India. He has also worked as a freelance information designer for various nonprofits in India. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Art & Design from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, and an M.Sc. in Digital Society from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore.

Tejas lives in Bangalore, burns the midnight oil, and communicates with the neighbourhood cats nervously as they leap from one roof to another. During waking hours, he takes a keen interest in public transport, open data, community mapping, and queer identities.
