KHOJ & I

Khoj & I

Khoj was an amazing experience. You learn a lot on these events. The three works,(the crossover, the trails and the journey inward and the journey outward), have left me satisfied and thinking of exploring certain things that I got to learn in process of developing them. And I am looking forward to that surely.

To carry some part of... what adds up as part of added baggage, and leaving behind does not always ease...you tend to gather more than what you just left....yes memories are heavy!

Portfolio Overview

Body

“In Between the Confined and the Secured….” is about making an enquiry into the complex human nature. In order to secure ourselves we end up barricading ourselves. This work remains open ended as it is not particularly about institutions. It raises question at a more personal level, where our insecurities are mostly an outcome of a self-preservative attitude. However at a broader level this attitude has caused us to create these socio-cultural and political boundaries around ourselves. The question persists as to how these confined areas make us believe in a virtual security.
