Sonal Jain (Guwahati/ Shillong) Sonal Jain received her art education from Faculty of Fine arts at MS University, Baroda, India. For three years she worked as Faculty of Photography & Communication Design at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. Sonal in 2004 co-founded the media collective, Desire Machine Collective, Guwahati. She is currently coordinating “Periferry”, an alternative, artist led space and project, and is an artist/filmmaker living and working in Guwahati.
