Call for Application / PEERS: KHOJ Student Residency 2008

Applications are now open for PEERS 2008: the KHOJ Student Residency programme. PEERS is a 4-week residency programme for recent graduates + masters students from art colleges across India initiated with support from IFA, which provides an opportunity for exchange and dialogue.

Peers@ Anita Dube's Studio

The unpainted brick arches pretending to be partitions gave us the way in to the studio. In the middle there is a greenish courtyard where the artist had collected objects for her future work. An array of books adorn the corners of the floor. The Studio was live with her ongoing works as well as her works in progress.

Between studios visit's to Manisha Parekh's + Rambali Chauhan's <<<<chk images>>>> and the constant power failures Pratap made several prints working hard all through the night. Not only his prints but also his wood cuts seem to get in to a newer shape. Aishwarya is editing her videos. Aditi had set her rooms ready.
