Project Telephone Pyaar
Community Art | Feb 2009 -
The project entails making of a fictional audio project comprising of telephonic conversations between young lovers. This project shall be in collaboration with the youth from the Khirkee community. This shall involve a workshop with 5-7 young people that shall explore the idea of love as they see it. During the course of the workshop we shall view popular films, listen to songs and read texts around the notion of love. We also hope to tour the love sites in the neighborhood which may include graffiti on street corners or monuments, post tuition class dating spots, PCO booths and Internet Cafes for instance. These ideas shall then be reconstructed into fictional phone conversations that will be scripted and performed by the workshop participants. To hear the audio clips please visit the Project Book.
