Project Overview
In an attempt to include the larger student community in our network and to provide a forum for experimentation and interaction with the larger artistic community and to provide a new space for emerging new voices, Khoj organizing a residency for students from different art colleges in India. Peers 2003, was the first of its kind in India. There were five artists from art institutions in different parts of India. The work situation in the Khirkee studio was an intensely lived experience for all the participants.
Almost all the participants came to the programme without any fixed expectations and they developed a common spirit in the Khirkee studios. The evenings were thick with discussions on art inside the Khirkee Courtyard.
