Black Box Project

Black Box Exercise: An Attempt to Define and Re-define Arts and Education was organized in collaboration with Zuni Icosahedron, Hongkong and India Foundation for the Arts (IFA).

The Black Box Exercise Arts Education model was created and developed by Hong Kong based artist Yuewai Wong and his associates in 1995. The Black Box Exercise is an exciting model for arts education, with students/ teachers / artists / parents / community working within the Black Box to create spaces both conceptual and physical, each unique and individual yet bound together by the nature of the frame. The workshop for Delhi was conceived for arts educators and facilitators who would then be able to take new insights away from the workshop and apply them in their own pedagogical spheres.
