Peers 2007 Project BookThe Peers Residency programme is aimed at providing a discursive space for emerging art students in India . Uma Ray reflects on the inward journey of a person exploring the self-within as well the outward journey where a person comes in contact with the living realities of the world. Prathap Modi works with massive woodcuts and plays around with the psychological mindset of the consumer in the mechanical world. Aishwarya Sultania works with the idea of the sense and sensibilities of the heart and the mind mapping. She had attempted to transform the very thought process in to images. Aditi Kulkarni meditates on the idea of time and space. She creates spaces that would give the viewer a different perception and experience of the two. |
