Khoj International Artists’ Association (New Delhi, India) collaborated with ASEF (Asia Europe Foundation) and the Danish Cultural Institute to organize Culture|Futures held in Copenhagen, Denmark from 7-9 December 2009.

“Culture I Futures: The Transition to an Ecological Age 2050” aimed to define the cultural element needed to deliver an ecological age by 2050. To this end, the conference brought together around 50 experts from various sectors (including environment, culture, engineering and media) to explore proactive and operational interconnections between arts and culture, on one side and holistic solutions for delivering 2050 goals.

 The conferences was held in Copenhagen during the 15th Conference of Parties (COP15) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
