"Maxine" is an agent developed with Max/MSP designed to do her own thing as an improviser. I seek to make her musical experience a free engagement with other improvisers. While I have dedicated a great deal of time to developing Maxine's instincts as an improviser, her performances here are without the aid of direct manipulation. I guess you could say she's "improvising." Ritwik Banerji

The Dualist Inquiry is the brainchild and solo project of Sahej Bakshi, a producer, guitarist and composer with a love and curiosity for all sounds electronic, melodic, cerebral and plain simple groovy.

TECHNODROME Urban Arts Festival 2010 is a new festival of emerging electronic music, visual arts and performances. Conceived by Mocha ArtHouse and Qilla Records, the first episode of this festival is due end February in New Delhi. As part of the festival, we are bringing down the acclaimed Russian digital artist Evgeny Kiselev (www.ekiselev.com) from St. Petersburg, Russia for his first solo show in India at the Mocha ArtHouse space in Vasant Kunj (starting 27th Feb 2010). In collaboration with Khoj, a half day illustration workshop has been planned in which Evgeny will share his approach to digital art and elaborate on some of the techniques he uses in his work.

The workshop is free of charge, but since seats are limited to a maximum of 20 participants, please email 'interact@khojworkshop.org' with a brief background to yourself, and we will get back to you.

Peers is a 4-week residency programme in May- June for recent graduates + masters students initiated with support from IFA, which provides an opportunity for exchange and dialogue. It is an attempt to network students from various art/ architecture/ media/ design colleges and to provide a forum for experimentation and interaction with the larger creative community.

Thomas Eichhorn,  will lead a two days intensive workshop on Interaction Design using the VVVV programming environment and interfacing it with audio, video and micro-controllers. Participants shall learn how to create media environments with physical interfaces, real-time motion graphics, audio and video that can interact with many users simultaneously.
